The Life of SCOTT PAUL MEIN

Scott Mein, 48, died Monday, November 17, 2003 of a heart attack at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.  Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 21 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Ankeny, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Scott was born December 25, 1054 and grew up in Indianola.  He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Upper Iowa University and worked as the Human Resouces Manager for Sticks, Inc.  Scott was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and President of Society of Human Resources-Central Iowa chapter.

Scott was an avid baseball and football fan.  He worked with the Indianola High School Football Team, played in a local baseball league and loved the Raiders.

Scott was very proud that his wife Kathy finished her college education in 2002 and was very proud of his children, Chris and Amy for their accomplishments in life.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Mein of Ankeny; daughter, Amy Mein of Las Vegas, NV; son, Christopher (Amanda) Mein of Ankeny; one granddaughter, Kristin; father, Paul (Barb) Mein of Bella Vista, AR; and brother, Lee (Su) Mein of Lawrenceville, GA.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Mein and brother Alan.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
