The Life of LARRY C DAWSON
Larry C. Dawson, 60, of the 4100 block of East 24th Court, died of cancer Sunday at Hospice Kavanagh House in Des Moines. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Dawson lived in Des Moines all of his life and was a retired senior laborator tecnician with Des Moines Water Works. He also had worked at Des Moines Auto Auction and had served in the Air Force.
Surviving are his wife, Twyla; a daughter, Jennifer Dawson of Johnston; three sons, David, Mark and Paul, all of Des Moines; his parents, King and Eileen Dawson of West Des Moines; a brother, Dick of Aluquerque, NM; and ten grandchildren.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Church or the American cancer Society.
