The Life of CHARLES J JESSER

Charles Jesser, 87, of 6250 NW Second Ave. died of a respiratory ailment Thursday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at All Saints Catholic Church, of which he was a member.  Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Jesser had lived in Des Moines all his life and retired as partner and service manager with Howlett Chevrolet, formerly known as Odea Chevrolet.  He served in the Air Corps during World War II and was a member of Boline-Manfredi Veterans of Foreign Wars, Navy League and Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include two brothers, David and Jospeh, and three sisters, Adel Maroon, Emiline Israel and Boots Leavell, all of Des Moines.

The family will greet friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited at 5 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
