The Life of JOSEPH HUGH MCAULEY
Joseph H. McAuley, 84, of 6630 S.E. Fifth St. died of complications of a stroke Thursday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. McAuley was born in Kent and lived in Des Moines most of his life. He had worked as a service manager for Sears and in the maintenance department of Target Stores.
Surviving are his wife, Betty; a daughter, Joan Medici of Madrid; a brother, Dean of Des Moines; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after noon today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
