Services for Joseph A. Reyes, 86, of 2439 SW Twelfth St, who died Monday at Broadlawns Polk County Hospital of complications following surgery, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hamilton''s Fuenral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Born in Argentina, Mr. Reyes had lived 46 years in Des Moines and had been employed in the maintenance department at Drake University. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Surviving are his widow, Virginia; a daughter, Mrs. Irene Tonsi of Carlisle; 10 sons, Frank, Charles, Ralph, Robert and Richard of Des Moines, Joseph, Jr., of Omstead Falls, OH, Alfonso and David of Chicago, IL, Dan of Seattle, WA, and Henry of Denver, CO; 28 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
