The Life of JAMES LEE AGEE
James Lee Agee, 79, of the 3200 block of Wright Street died of a heart ailment Monday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at noon Thursday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Agee was born in Perry and moved to Des Moines more than 50 years ago. He was a retired truck driver with Gateway Transportation and a member of First Assembly of God Church and the Teamsters.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene; two daughters, Patricia Hastie of Boone and Sharon Young of Des Moines; two sons, Gary and Douglas, both of Des Moines; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributiions may be made to his church.
