The Life of MATHILDE W GOODWIN
Mathlide W. Goodwin, 79, of 8541 NW Fifty-fourth Ave. in Johnston, a homemaker, died of cancer Wednesday at home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Gospel Assembly Church. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Goodwin was born in Booneville, IN, and lived in Evnsville, IN, before moving to Des Moines 14 years ago. She was a member of Gospel Assembly.
Survivors include three sons, Vernon G. and the Rev. Lloyd L. both of Johnston, and Nathan L. of Urbandale; a daughter, Audrey I. Werling of Johnston; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
