The Life of LLOYD F TAYLOR

Lloyd F Taylor, 89, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2002 at his home in Scottsdale. He was born July 12, 1912 in Centerville, Iowa to George and Martha Taylor. A graduate of Drake University, Lloyd served twenty-five years as a corporate executive for John F Cuneo's many companies around the country. While working in Chicago, he founded and was president of the Arlington Heights Little League in the early 1950's. He retired in 1978 from Camelview Plaza, new Scottsdale Fashion Square. Lloyd was a man with a great work ethic, intelligent, honest and had a stong belief in family unity. He was an avid gardener and a loving and devoted husband, son, brother, father and grandfather. Helen, his wife of 57 years, preceded him in death. He is survived by his four children; Nancy Taylor of Scottsdale, Mark (Debby) of Scottsdale, Thomas of Oconomowoc, WI, daughter-in-law Susan of Pewaukee, WI, John (Susan) of Louisville, KY, 10 wonderful grandchildren, James (Amy), Anne Marie (Kevin), Julie, Matthew (Melissa), Jennifer, Mark (Bridget), Brad, Christina, John and Steven; two sisters, Beulah Kasdorf of Madison, WI, Lavaughn Skinner of Des Moines, Iowa and a special niece, Shirley (Bill) Evans of Jackson, MI. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Private services will be held at Messinger Indian School Mortuary. He will be buried alongside his wife in Des Moines, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, the Taylor family requests a contribution to the American Heart Association, 2929 S 48th St. Tempe, AZ, 85282.
