The Life of LEATEANE VANDER LINDEN
Leateane "Leata" Vander Linden, 81, of Parkridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pleasant Hill died of complications of Parkinson''s disease there Saturday. Cremation will follow the visitation. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Vander Linden was born in Pella and had lived in Des Moines since 1940. She had been a bookkeeper with an electronic equipment company and was a member of Union Park Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, C.J., and a son, Marc, both of Des Moines; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson''s Disease Foundation.
