The Life of HARRY J BREWER
Harry J. Brewer, 76, of the 3300 block of Cornell Street died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Jubilee Fellowship Church, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Brewer was born in Sioux City and had lived in Des Moines 50 years. He had worked for Deere & Co. before retiring and enjoyed crossword puzzles.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou; a son, Barry of Hungry Horse, MT; three stepsons, Jack Eshelman, Louis Anderson and Mike Anderson, all of Des Moines; two half-brothers, Art Hitte and Kenny Hitte, both of Sioux City; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the chruch. Brooks Funeral Care is handling arrangements.
