The Life of HELEN H HUNTER SAMPSON
Helen H. "Nanny" Hunter Sampson, 95, of Muskogee, OK, died of congestive heart failure there December 20. Services were held Monday at Bradley Funeral Service Belltower Chapel in Muskogee. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.
Mrs. Sampson was born in Lorimor and had lived in Des Moines most of her life before moving to Oklahoma. She was an elemetary school teacher in Des Moines and a member of Valley View Church in Fort Gibson, OK.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Woodard Bell of Muskogee; a sister, Mary Jane Winnie of Iowa City; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
