The Life of MARK ALLYN BRIGHTMAN
Mark Allyn Brightman, 42, of Bella Vista, AK, died of complications of cancer Monday in San Francisco. The body was cremated, and memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Bentonville, AK, of which he was a member. Burial of the remains will be at a later date at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.
Mr. Birghtman was born in Des Moines and had lived here most of his life before moving to Hawaii, TX, and Arkansas. He was a registered pharmacist with Medicap Pharmacy in Des Moines and in Hawaii and Texas before retiring. He was a member of Houston, TX, Zoological Society. He enjoyed animals and was a volunteer at the zoo.
He is survived by his parents, Harold and Evelyn Brightman of Bella Vista; a brother, Hal of Bentonville; and a sister, Linda Birghtman of Bella Vista.
Memorial contributions may be made to his church. Naumann, Lincoln and Roos Funeral Home in San Francisco handled arrangements.
