The Life of MAXINE JEANNETTE BARKER BAIRD
Maxine J. Baird, 82, died Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Genesis Living Center. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Maxine was born June 12, 1926 to Lou and Vera McClintic in Fontenelle, Iowa. She moved from Mercer, Missouri to Des Moines at age 15. Maxine was a Taxi Cab Driver for Capital Cab before her retirement. Maxine is survived by her children, Theodore Barker, Jr., Larry Barker, Lark Eckerman and James Barker; brothers, Wilber and Lou McClintic; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other extended relatives and friends.
