The Life of SHAWN MALCOLM LANG
Shawn Lang, 55, died Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Grinnell Regional Medical Center. Shawn was born on June 15, 1954 to Jack and Jean Lang in Des Moines, Iowa. He worked as a carpet layer and enjoyed working on old cars. Shawn is survived by his daughters, Christi and Shawna; siblings, Polly, Todd, Gary, Sandie, and Scott; his mother, Jean Lang; his father, Jack (Audrey) Lang; and four grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 14, 2009 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1 NE 60th Ave., in Des Moines, Iowa. Visitation with the family present will be from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave. Memorial contributions may be made to Montezuma Volunteer Fire Department in loving memory of Shawn.
