The Life of LOUISE I FETTERS

Life long resident of Des Moines, Louise Fetters, died Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at Mercy Hospital.  She suffered from heart and lung disease.  She was 78 years old.

She was preceded in death by her husband Daryl Fetters; two sons, Gregory Fetters and Mark Fetters; a sister, Winona Thompson; a brother, Jim Rogers; and son-in-law, Daryl Golay.

She is survived by her daughters, Lynette Golay of Des Moines, Lucinda Gloshen and her husband Ronnie of Corpus Christi, TX; a sister, Marilyn Thorn and husband, Richard of Idaho Falls, ID; and a brother, Bob Rogers of Des Moines.  She has five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and advisor.  She was a fantastic artist, baker and gardener.  She especially loved her Iris bed.  She had a beautiful poodle names Mitze that she loved very much.  Mitze misses her as much as the rest of us.

The service will be held at Hamilton''''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 11 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2007.  Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2007 at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
