The Life of THOMAS PATRICK ANDERSON
Thomas Patrick Anderson died on August 1, 2010 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines. He was a Korean War Veteran and retired from the Des Moines Schools
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Tom is survived by his wife, DiAnna Anderson; seven children, Joe Anderson, Cheryl Summers, Lisa Frazier, Debra Rawlins, Janel Hike, Chad Fisher and David Fisher; 21 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and his brothers, Joe Anderson and James Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dayton and Angela Anderson; father-in-law, Gaylord Brooks; mother-in-law, Ruby Flagstad; and his sister-in-law, Deborah Carter.
Tom loved music, TV, singing, eating hot dogs and going to Prairie Meadows.
Tom was an angel on earth but the Lord needed him to continue his angel work in Heaven.
