The Life of BEVERLY J CIRKSENA
Beverly J. Cirksena, 75, passed away April 15, 2011, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.
Beverly was born February 25, 1936. She was a voracious reader, and enjoyed spending time with the ladies from her Red Hat Club. Beverly was a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother, and loved her cat.
She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca (Ron) Young of Urbandale, and Laura (Lonnie) Schaffer, of Denver, CO; granddaughter, Kendra (Adam Rodriguez) Cirksena; and great-grandchildren, Adam James and Natalie Beverly Ann. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James, daughter, Cynthia, and sister, Vivian.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shrine Children’s Hospitals.
