The Life of FERN MARYLOUISE ROBERTSON
Fern M. Robertson was born March 22, 1916 in Des Moines to Charles and Blanche Polson and died July 9, 2009. After completing her education at Lincoln High School she married Arthur Robertson.
Fern is survived by her son, Theodore "Ted" Robertson of Clearwater Beach, FL; brother, Lloyd V. Polson of Phrump, NV; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her daughter-in-law, Shirley Robertson; widow of the late Revend James Robertson who preceded Fern in death. She was also preceded in death by her daughtere, Jacqueline; daughter-in-law, Gwendolyn; and her husband, Arthur.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2009 at Highland Park Christian Church, where she has been a long time member. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Dr. John B. Holcombe, Jr. will officiate. Fern has been a member of the O.E.S. Hawkeye Chaper of Home Lodge and Ladies Auxiliary of WWII Veterans.
