The Life of YVONNE RAE DUNSHEE
Yvonne Rae "Bud" Dunshee passed away Friday morning, August 5 surrounded by her lifelong friends.
Bud attended Drake University and was an Executive Administrator at the State Office Building and Firestone.
Bud served as Pastor of The Church of the Holy Spirit/Word of God Ministries here in Des Moines. She counseled, inspired and blessed her congregation and all that knew her.
She recently served as President at the Norwoodville Senior Community Center.
Bud's life partner was Laura Johnson, the great love of her life who preceded her in passing.
Yvonne has one daughter, Charmaine LaDayll; three grandchildren, Tiffany Pool, Stephany Roush and Zack Bevill, and seven great-grandchildren, Victoreya, Tyler, Gracie, Austin, Joshua, Mari and Peyton, all of Houston, TX.
Services will be held at Brook's Funeral Home on University on Sunday, August 14, 2011, at 1:30 p.m.
