Lester Hicks, age 56 passed away May 3, 2011 at his home. Lester was born January 1, 1955 in Des Moines, IA to Burton Meachan and Colleen Arlu Allen Hicks. He was a US Army veteran and worked for Ford Motor Company. Lester was a member of the Ray Clay Radio Club.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Hicks of Des Moines; sons, Michael A. Hicks and Robert M. Hicks; a brother, Stan Hicks. He was preceded by his parents.

Services: Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 7 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, Des Moines. Visitation:A visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 6 at Caldwell-Raddatz Funeral Home, 8201 Hickman Rd, Urbandale.
