The Life of GAIL ARDIVAN BEAVERS
Gail A. Beavers passed away on June 29, 2009 at Iowa Methodist Hospital. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 1 at Iles Funeral Homes-Westover Chapel. A private service will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2009.
Gail was born February 6, 1916 in Highpoint Township in Decatur County the son of William Oscar and Jane Anna (Perdue) Beavers. He worked various construction jobs and retired from Drake University in 1983. Gail enjoyed sports, hunting and fishing.
Gail is survived by his loving wife, Mildred; daughter, Alaina (Dave) Riley; four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Gloria Jane Logan; both parents; five sisters and one brother.
