The Life of EUNICE BERNICE SMITH
Eunice Bernice “Bunny” Smith, 91, died Monday, December 15, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center.
She was born on February 26, 1917, to Jack and Pearl Dennis in Des Moines.
She was a graduate of North High School, and member of the Eastern Star, Westeners Square Dance Club, and the Baldwin Patterson American Legion. Eunice was a Claims Associate with EMC in Des Moines.
Eunice is survived by her sons, Jerry (Mary Ann) Logan; Jim (Sheila) Logan; and sisters Margaret Andersen, Betty (Earle) Duggan, and Marilyn (Jim) Wilson; 7grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a son, 5 brothers and 2 sisters, 1 grandson and one great grandson.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue. A visitation with family present will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
