The Life of KARIN LOU BEARDSLEY
Karin Beardsley, 76, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on September 7, 2010. Visitation will be held at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines, on Sunday, September 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be on Monday, September 13 at 10:30 a.m. at Lutheran Church of Hope, 925 Jordan Creek Parkway, West Des Moines.
Karin graduated from North High School and Simpson College. She married Jack in 1959 and worked as a legal secretary for General Growth Properties. Karin enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and playing bridge.
She is survived by her husband Jack; daughters, Kristin Beardsley and Kelly (Tim) Larick; son, Jack “Chip” (Renee) Beardsley, II; grandchildren, Anthony, Angela and Nicholas Ceretti, Jackie and Nathan Larick, Ellizabeth and Sophi Beardsley; great-grandchildren, Gino and Gianna Burris; and five nieces. She will be met in heaven by her parents, Al and Ruth Quick; brother, Jim; and many other relatives and friends.
