The Life of SANDRA DIANE MCDIVITT
Sandra "Sandy" McDivitt, 66, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2009 at her home.
Sandra was born to Roy and Leona McKeehan on January 27, 1943 in Des Moines. Sandy had a tender and big heart and touched many people''s lives. She loved her family and her biggest desire for them was to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Sandra is survived by her son, Mark Wingfield; son, Michael (Lisa) Wingfield; son, Steven (Sally) Wingfield; daughter; Darcy (Cory) Freeborn; daughter, Sonya (Tony) Wingfield-Graziano; son, Sean Thompson; step-children, Sheryl (Allen) Heinrichs, Teresa (Steve) Parker, Doug McDivitt; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandson; aunt, Wanda Buch. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Wingfield; second husband, Tom McDivitt; one sister and one brother.
A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Hamilton''s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. A visitation with the family present will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday, August 17, 2009 at the funeral home.
