The Life of DONALD D WILCOX
Donald Wilcox, 74, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2007, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.
Donald was born July 21, 1933 in Humboldt, Iowa. He was an active member in the Marines during the Korean War. Donald served 26 years as a postal clerk in the distribution department at the main postal office. He was a member of the Duet Again (Remarrieds.) He was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
He is survived by his sons, Ricky and Steven Wilcox; daughters, Karla (Melvin) Kellis and Connie “Sissi” Malone; brother, Herbert (Florine) Wilcox; ten grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Wilcox.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2007 at the funeral home.
