The Life of ROBERT E LEINHAUSER
Bob Leinhauser, 83, passed away June 5, 2010 at the Bright Kavanagh House in Des Moines. Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Bob was born October 29, 1926 to Harold and Mable Leinhauser. He enjoyed woodworking, making custom leather holsters and bags, shooting guns, photography, and was an accomplished jazz organist.
Bob is survived by his children, Sharon, Mike (Sally), Carol Ann (Dave), and Karen Lynn (Dave); step-sons, Richard (Barbara) Taylor, and Chris (Jan) Taylor; grandchildren, Michael and Holly; step-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Aimee, and Hinton II; six great-grandchildren; and six step-great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty, and his second wife, Margie.
Memorial contributions may be directed toward the Bright Kavanagh House, or the National Rifle Association.
