Funeral Services for Robert DeWayne McCarty, age 82, of Knoxville will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Bybee and Davis Funeral Home.
DeWayne farmed, operated heavy equipment and worked at Maytag before being employed by the V.A. Medical Center.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Joyce; two children, David McCarty of Marshalltown and Pam Prichard (Clyde, Jr.) of Knoxville; two grandchildren, Sonny and Shanna Prichard; and his sister, Mary Kathryn Clark of New London and many other family members and friends.
Visitation will begin after 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the Bybee and Davis Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
