The Life of LUELLA VERONICA SHEA
Luella Shea, 98, passed away Monday, June 13, 2011, at Bishop Drumm Care Center in Johnston. She was born January 15, 1913, in Knoxville to Michael and Katherine Ripperger.
Luella enjoyed sewing and spending time with family.
She is survived by her sons, Don (Diane) and Jim (Jackie) Shea; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; sisters, Bernie (Don) Fatino, Betty Smith; brother, Frank (Irene) Ripperger.
Luella is preceded in death by her husband Leo; son, Jerry Shea; 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be held 9:30 am, Saturday, June 18, 2011, at Bishop Drumm Care Center, 5837 Winwood Drive, Johnston, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Family will greet friends Friday, June 17 from 6 to 8 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue.
