The Life of GRACE FLORENCE WHITE BUCKINGHAM
Grace F. White Buckingham, 85, died Monday, December 6, 2010, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2010, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Grace was born January 14, 1925, in Des Moines to Mary and James White. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, playing the organ, working in her yard on her flowers, and collecting cats.
She is survived by her children: Suzanne (Robert) Jackson, Barbara Buckingham, and David (Laura) Buckingham; her 6 grandchildren; and her 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers: James and Lonnie White.
