The Life of RICHARD CHARLES LAMB

Richard Charles Lamb, 74, of Hot Springs, AR died August 25, 2008. He was born May 30, 1934 in Traer, Iowa to the late George D. Lamb and Frances M. Townsend Lamb. He was a National Guardsman, law enforcement officer and retired from the State of Iowa. Mr. Lamb was a member of the Elks Club, the Catholic Church and had served with the Knights of Columbus Council #2316. Mr. Lamb was preceded in death by his brother, Lt. Col, George Robert Lamb and a granddaughter, Megan Elizabeth Lamb. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Bacon Lamb of Hot Springs, AR; three children: Lorraine Staver and husband Paul of Des Moines, Iowa, Rick Lamb and wife Heiran of Tampa, Florida and Kathy Ehrhardt and husband Mike of Chesterfield, Missouri; sister, Jean Eisenlauer and brother, David M. Lamb both of Des Moines, Iowa; sister-in-law Betty Lamb of Clearwater, FL.; seven grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A funeral mass was held in Hot Springs, AR on Friday, August 29, 2008. Graveside services will be held 11 am Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus or the Fraternal Order of Police. Guests may register at http://www.caruth-hale.com
