The Life of BETTE RAE DAVIS
Bette Rae Davis of Florence died December 19, 2000, at age 72. She was born August 18, 1928 in Valley Springs, CA. On June 22, 1956, in Reno, NV, she married Jack Robert Davis.
She worked for Lockheed Aircraft for 15 years and for the California school district in Grass Valley, CA, for 14 years. She moved to Florence in 1992, having lived most of her life in California.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Ritter.
She is survived by a sister, Peggy Jackson; husband, Bob of Westlake; a brother, Roy "Bud" Ritter of Vacaville, CA; and many nephews and nieces.
At the family''s request, no services are planned at this time.
Private cremational rites were held through Burns''s Riverside Chapel Florence Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
