The Life of EVELYN MARIE ISSERSTEDT
Evelyn M. Isserstedt, 87, of the 10300 block of Northwest Beaver Drive, Johnston, died of pneumonia Wednesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. The body was cremated, and memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Federated Church of Bondurant.
Mrs. Isserstedt was born in Chicago and had lived there until moving to the Des Moines area in 1946. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed sewing and traveling.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur; a son, Glenn of Milford, MI; a daughter, Gail Helm of Bondurant; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa.
