The Life of APRIL JENE ESTES
April Jene Estes, 57, of Des Moines, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2007, at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines, IA. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 6, 2007 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. Visitation with family present will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Highland Memory Cemetery after services April was born January 24, 1950 in Des Moines to Roger and June Davis. April loved spending time with family and grandchildren were a major part of her life. She enjoyed to create silk flowers She is survived by her husband, Jim Estes; daughters, Sharina (Daniel) Brangers; Victoria Caldwell; son, Randall Wilson; five grandchildren, Sarah Meyers; Cheyenne Brangers; Whitney Caldwell; Hunter Brangers ; Zachary Caldwell. April was preceded in death by her first husband, Stephen Wilson; father, Roger Davis; and grandparents, Charles and Alice Crabtree.
