The Life of RONALD PAUL ADCOCK Jr.
Ronald Adcock, Jr., 49, was called home by God on Sunday, July 24, 2011, due to heart failure. A Celebration of Ron's Life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 29, at Iles Funeral Homes - Westover Chapel with burial following at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Ron was born December 2, 1961. He was very social and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Ron enjoyed football, especially Roosevelt High School and the Miami Dolphins. He was a dedicated and hard worker. Ron will be missed tremendously by all who loved and knew him.
Ron is survived by mother, Elaine of West Des Moines; father, Ron, Sr. (Dona) of Des Moines; his son, Tyler (Liz); daughter, Britney; and former spouse, Debbie of Algona; his sister, Jana of Overland Park, KS; four brothers, Randy (Vicki) of Johnston, Jim (Anne), Josh and Matt all of Des Moines; grandchildren, Cohen, Addisyn, Quinton, Bryton, and Dayne of Algona; nieces and nephews, Kelsey, Brandon, Heather, Shaun, Spencer, Hunter, Amber, and Jennifer; great-nephew, Ayden; aunts, Doris, Ethel, and Nancy; and uncles, Eldon and David; and many cousins. Ron's passion in life was bringing joy to others and helping everyone.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, July 28, at Westover Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
