The Life of BEVERLY M KALLANSRUD
Beverly M. Kallansrud, 83, died Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Trinity Center at Luther Park.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Capitol Hill Lutheran Church, 511 Des Moines St., with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
Beverly was born April 25, 1924 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She married John Kallansrud on June 1, 1946 and they moved to Des Moines in 1956. Beverly was a wife, mother and homemaker who spent most of her time taking care of her family and was active in her church. Beverly later worked with her husband, who owned Add A Tool Co., before selling the business and retiring.
Beverly is survived by her children, Joy Willis of Bettendorf, IA, Vicki Lydon of Cedar Rapids, IA, Gary Kallansrud fo St. Louis, MO and Randy Kallansrud of Des Moines; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack" Kallansrud and her brother.
Memorial contributions may be made to Capitol Hill Lutheran Church.
