The Life of MILDRED LILLIAN WYER
Mildred Wyer, 89, died Thursday, August 30, 2007, at Valley View Village in Des Moines. Mildred was born November 27, 1917 in Prescott, Iowa to Donna and Herman Grundman. She was married February 6, 1947 to Guylenox Wyer. She lived in Corning/Creston area until moving to Des Moines in 1949.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Wyer of Des Moines; and son, Bill Wyer of Des Moines; grandson, Evan (Kris) Wyer; and two great-granddaughters.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Guylenox Wyer; sister, Reva Mae Farris; brother, Carl Grundman.
Memorial contributions may be made to Easton Place United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2007 at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday with cremation following the service. Private burial will be held at a later date.
