The Life of HELEN ESTELLA ANDREWS
Helen Andrews, 76, died Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at Bright Kavanagh House. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 15 at Iles Funeral Homes-Grandview Park Chapel. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Helen was born in Des Moines. She worked for 12 years at CDS Global, retiring in 1994. She enjoyed her activities and friends at the Eastside Senior Center. She loved spending time with her family as well as camping and her pets.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Teri Sue Andrews; two sons, Ricky (Suzanne) Andrews and Kevin (Teri Lynne) Andrews; brother-in-law, Dan Morton; boyfriend, Cletus Horch; eight grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Andrews; son, Nicky Andrews; and five siblings, Clifford, Wayne, Donna, JoAnn and Peg.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
