The Life of RAYMOND BARR JR

Raymond Barr Jr, 92, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2008 at University Park Care Center. Graveside services will be held 11 am Tuesday at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held 6 to 8pm Monday at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens.

Raymond was born September 11, 1916 in Grovert, SD. He served in the US Army during World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart. Raymond retired from Capital City Electric where he was an electrician. He was a member of Local 347 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the Central Congregation of Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. Raymond loved being with his grandchildren. He enjoyed watching TV and putzing around in his garden.

Raymond is survived by his sons, Raymond Lee Barr (Karyn) and David Barr (Maurine); 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; his two sisters, Eileen Wolver and Darlene Lord. Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Marietta Barr.

Memorials are suggested to the Central Congregation of Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints.
