The Life of SHIRLEY KALSEM
Shirley Kalsem, 59, was born June 6, 1949. She passed away Monday, February 16, 2009 at her home in Des Moines. She is survived by her father, Falten Kalsem; her siblings, Carolyn (Jim) Stoll, Sandra Plowman (Terry Koon), Phyllis Connors and Don Kalsem (Ann Howland); and a host of other family members. Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Maxine Kalsem. Shirley was full of love and enjoyed her nieces and nephews and their children. Her memory will live in our hearts forever. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.
