The Life of HELEN V SPOONER
Services for Helen V. Spooner, 72, of 3010 Seneca Ave., who died of emphysema Sunday at home, will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Westover Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Spooner was born in Maxwell, lived in Des Moines 42 years and was a retired office manager for One Trip Plumbing and Heating Company Inc. She was a member of Gatchel United Methodist Church.
Survivors included a son, Ronald C.; three brothers, Leon Hall of Story City, Harold Hall of Colo and Forest Hall of Tujunga, Calif.; three sisters, Hazel Williams of Nevada, Margaret Lansdowne of El Cajon, Calif., and Doris Weeks of New Richmond, Wis.; and three grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Central Iowa.
