The Life of IDA LEOLA REYES
Ida Leola Reyes, 88, of the 2400 block of Southwest 12th Street died of leukemia Sunday at home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Southtown Fuenral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Reyes had lived in Des Moines all of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Chesterfield Church of Christ.
Among survivors are her husband, Frank; two sons, Fred of Storm Lake and Dan of Des Moines; three daughters, Virginia Nixon, Dolores Dudley and Diana Reyes, and a sister, Georgia Turner, all of Des Moines; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa.
