The Life of KERMIT E LOHNER
Kermit "Kurt" Lohner of 2326 NE 51st Court died of a heart attack Sunday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. He was 40. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Community Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Highland memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Lohner, a lifelong Des Moines resident, was a self-employed safety consultant.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; four daughters, Heidi Lohner, Tammy Lohner, Niki Lohner and Kristy Lohner, all of Des Moines; his father, Don of Granger; and two sisters, Carla Cox of Des Moines and Madonna Lohner of Granger.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Altoona Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
