The Life of ROBERT L SMITH
Robert L. Smith, 60, of 1620 Eighth St., died of a heart attack Monday at Broadlawns Medical Center. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Des Moines, Mr. Smith had been a co-owner of Smith Saw Mill and recently worked at Your Warehouse as a delivery parts driver.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; four daughters, Debbie Webb, Lori Gist, Lisa Donahue, and Deana Smith; and two sons, Michael and William, all of Des Moines; two brothers, Ed of Des Moines and Don of Lineville; two sisters, Wilma Clark and Frances Marshall, both of Des Moines; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
