The Life of FRED G JOTZKE
Fred G Jotzke, 86, of 3815 Columbia St. died of a respiratory ailment Wednesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at All Saints Catholic Church, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Born in Germany, Mr. Jotzke lived in Sioux City before moving to Des Moines 44 years ago. He retired in 1972 after working for Friedman Motors Inc. and was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; two sons, Gary of West Des Moines and Tim of Greenfield; a brother, Adolph of Sioux City; three sisters, Emma Naber of Syracuse, Neb., Bertha Lange of California and Marie Brugger of Wayne, Neb.; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at Hamilton's Funeral Home.
