The Life of PHYLLIS DARLENE SMITH
Phyllis Darlene Smith, 54, of 8668 Summit Drive, Clive, died of cancer Monday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Westkirk Evangelical Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith, who worked at Ethan Allen Carriage House, was born in Algona.
She is survived by her husband, Al, Jr.; two daughters, Cindy Heath of Des Moines and Kathy Smith of Clive; a son, David of Urbandale; a brother, Gary Butts of Arvada, CO; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at McLaren's Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be amde to her church or to hospice.
