The Life of RAYMOND E LISTER
Raymond E. Lister, 75, of 1418 Eighth St., died Thursday of emphysema at Medicenter of America, 233 University Ave. He had been ill several years.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Calwell-Brien-Robbins Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Lister was born in Clarinda and lived in Centerville before moving to Des Moines 23 years ago. He was a retired interior decorator and member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Julia; three daughters, Evelyn Menning of Des Moines, Margaret Harder of Grand Prairie, Tex., and Joyce McCarty of Knoxville; a son, Loyal of Grant, Ala.; a sister, Nellie Richardson of Bedford; three brothers, Walter of Knoxville, Ted of Santa Paula, Calif., and Donald of Centerville; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
