The Life of TREVOR MICHAEL STEWART
Trevor Michael Stewart was born September 12, 1986 to Tim and Carla Stewart of Van Meter. On Saturday, March 12, 2005, he died of injuries from an auto accident in Van Meter.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, at Grace West Church in West Des Moines. Friends may call after noon Tuesday at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel where family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m.
The things Trevor loved was family, his mother and father, grandmothers and grandfathers, aunts and uncles, many cousins, and a multitude of friends. Other loves were his car, grandpa Jack''s pick-up and the love of his life, Caitlyn Greer, maybe not in that order.
There wasn''t anything Trevor couldn''t do. He enjoyed building things from wood and tinkering with a car. From an early age one of the favorite things he liked was mowing the grass in the yard. Trevor worked as a grounds keeper at Briarwood Golf Course for one season and loved it.
Trevor is survived by his father, Tim Stewart of Van Meter; his mother, Carla Ihle and stepdad, Gary Ihle of Huxley; stepbrother, Dustin Ihle; grandparents,Jack and Katie Stewart of Van Meter; grandmother, Ethel Deever of Des Moines; grandparents, Arnold and Sue Ihle of Arizona; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial contributions can be directed to the Van Meter Community Schools in Trevor''s name.
