The Life of LINDA SUE PHILLIPS SWARTSLANDER

Linda Sue Swartslander, 45, of Ackworth died of an aneurysm Tuesday at University Hospitals in Iowa City. Services will be at 10:30 am Saturday at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.

Mrs. Swartslander was born in Des Moines and had lived in Altoona most of her life before moving to Ackworth several years ago. She was the owner of Endless Endeavors and had been the manager of Goodwill Industries in Indianola. She was a member of Rainbow Girls of Altoona and an avid antique collector and dealer.

She is survived by her husband, Ted; a daughter, Courtney Phillips of Rapid City, SD; a son, Robert Phillips of Port Hueneme, CA; her parents, Barbara and Wayne Anderson, and a brother, Karl Anderson, all of Altoona; two sisters, Cindy Peecher of Pollock, MO, and Nancy Curry of Altoona; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross.
