The Life of GEORGE W LUICK
George W. Luick, 72, of 6100 SE Fourth St. died of a kidney ailment Monday at his home. Services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Luick was a lifelong resident of Des Moines. He was a retired engineer for KRNT Radio and TV and was a ham radio operator.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth G "Betty"; a daughter, Sandra Waters of Urbandale; two sons, Lawrence of San Francisco, CA, and Thomas of Lincoln, NE; a sister, Charlotte Brady of Des Moines; a brother, Harold of Carlisle; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.
