The Life of RODGER D WILLIAMS JR
Rodger D. Williams, Jr., 88, formerly of Des Moines, passed away May 26, 2003 in Harlingen, TX. Services to be held at 12 noon Saturday, May 31, at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Rodger was a veteran of WWII, a Des Moines firefighter and retired from Fair-Play Scoreboards. He was an avid RC model airplane flyer. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 67 years, Clara; daughter, Pamela (James) Roller of Grand Junction, CO and Catherine (David) Wilson of Lancaster, PA; son, Rodger III (Sharon) of Ankeny; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother James of Harlingen, TX; and a countless number of friends.
